The 2 minutes 54 seconds song, is a mid-tempo high life tune that features rapper Dadie Opanka who also cautions fake friends and evil ones to shove off his way.

In an interview with the 20 year old Talanku, he stated that the song ‘Fake Friends’ was inspired by acts by some friends that posed as helpers but later turned to be bed bugs sucking his blood.

“I have gone through a very painful situation when people who pretended to be helping me, went behind me to bring me down. Some who are seniors in the industry took my money to do stuff for me but later did not help. They would then go to other people to tell them to dupe me because they think I have money,” he said.

According to Talanku, this has been a very bad experience to him, therefore, decided to use it to compose a song to caution other people to be wary of people that claim have good heart for them.

Earlier last year, Talanku had release a song titled ‘Mensei Da’ which has the singer telling his enemies he is unfazed by their evil deeds. It features Big J Cartel of Praye fame. That song gained massive airplay on most radio stations across the country.

He also has songs like ‘Fa Ma Me’ ft. Yaa Pono and ‘I Miss You’ ft. Ephraim, ‘Blessings’ with Nero X, among other craftily composed pieces.
